I started my radio days right out of high school, hosting a morning program for the DRC (Diocesan Radio Corporation) in Corpus Christi in 1985. Since then, I've also hosted afternoon shows, worked as producer for talk shows, and hosted children's Sunday morning show ("The Sunday Funday Morning Show").

I moved to Dallas in 1989. In addition to my work in broadcasting, I teach PE and Health during the week. I love working with the kids so much! I want to be remembered as someone who was there for them, and I want their memory of me to be a good one!

Here's a brief profile of John Eddy:

Birthdate: March 30th - Corpus Christi, Texas

Conversion experience: My parents were the ones that taught me that God was the One Who would be there for me, no matter what! I pray and talk to God every chance I get – while driving to work, grocery shopping, while watching that awesome sunset, etc. I know God listens when I pray and talk to Him. Daily, I see the path God has laid out for me. I get excited when I think that God has a plan for me! I think that is why I enjoy working in radio. God puts someone there for us when we need them. Not only have I been there for some caller, but the conversation has left me with something special as well. Sometimes someone will call in to the station and really need to talk, or the song that just played had a message just for them...they call to share that experience. When I get those types of calls, honestly, I realize that God put me there to be that friend to that person in that very moment. We are all in this field for that reason. God planned it that way!

Favorite scripture: Isaiah 55:12

Hobbies/collections: I collect different types of old books. Some from the 1700's! I enjoy listening to music from the 1920's, watching silent movies, collecting vintage music sheets from 1920's and movie posters from the 20's and 30's. I also enjoy listening to Classic Christian Music from the 70's/80's.
