We’re all bound to face a situation in life at some point that will completely knock us out. Whether it’s an illness, a loss, an addiction, or something else, it’s important to remember these 3 things whenever the bottom falls out in our lives.
1. Fall On Your Knees
When everything breaks apart, fall on your knees and remember the ultimate source of your strength. He didn’t leave you and guess what? He never will!
2. Don’t Go At It Alone
Find two or three people that can go at this journey with you and pray with you during this time. You need people that can be there at a moment’s notice to support and encourage you so you can let go of it.
3. Unpack Your Emotional Suitcase
There are going to be some positive things that we’ll want to hold on to and set aside, however, there are also some things that are bad that are just holding us down and preventing us from moving forward. You need to trash those!
