BLOG: Jay Allen Plans Your Weekend!

This weekend is packed full of amazing events for you and your family so make sure to celebrate the Summer season right!

1. Harvest America with Greg Laurie (AT&T Stadium) – Sun. June 10th (6PM8PM)

We’re gearing up for our largest undertaking of 2018: proclaiming the gospel nationwide on June 10! It’s going to be epic, and we’re excited to once again see God transform the lives of thousands who receive His invitation for forgiveness and salvation.

We’d be honored if you would join us—and people across America—as we bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who so desperately need it. Will you come to Harvest America?

Here are the details:

• The event will be at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at 6:00 PM Central.

• It will feature music from top Christian artists, including Chris Tomlin, Switchfoot, Crowder, and Phil Wickham.

• There’s a pre-event concert beginning at 5:30 PM, featuring KB, Trip Lee, and Tedashii.

• Gates open at 3:30 and this non-ticketed event is completely free. Be sure to get there early!

• Everyone who attends will hear a clear and relevant message conveying the gospel, so be sure to bring someone who doesn’t yet know the Lord.

Just imagine YOUR friends and family members giving their lives to Jesus because of your invitation.

2. Dirk Nowitzki’s 2018 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game (Dr. Pepper Ballpark) – Fri. June 8th (5PM8PM)

Dallas Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki rounds up a host of sports and celebrity buddies for fun and games on the baseball field. The annual all-star event, presented by Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Frisco, benefits the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation.

Two teams, each made up of celebrity players and amateurs, will slug it out for 9 innings of hard-charging, umpire-umpping, trash-talking, base-stealing, home run-hitting baseball. Come early for family fun festivities outside the ballpark and a Heroes Special Olympics All-Star Softball Game starting at 5 p.m. Celebrity baseball gets underway at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks finale.
