Join Hope Clinic of McKinney on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from noon until 3 pm for a FREE Community Health Fair focusing on Women’s Health. Over 20 vendors specializing in programs and services benefitting women will be set up in and around the clinic’s parking lot, near the intersection of Lamar and Kentucky.
Check in for free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings. Plan for a FREE picnic lunch of Chick Fil A sandwiches, chips and drinks — all courtesy of Credit Union of Texas. Follow it up with a home-baked treat purchased at our old-fashioned Bake Sale benefitting the clinic. Take advantage of free mammograms being offered by the Moncrief Cancer Institute Mobile Mammogram Unit (Pre-qualification required. Call us at 469.712.4246, ext. 102).
To date, some of the participants include UT Southwestern’s Center for Depression Research & Clinical Care, Valley Creek Dental Care, Texas A&M AgriLife, Lifepath Systems, Rosa es Rojo, A Motivating Love, Cottonwood Creek Church Cancer Ministry, The Manda Strong Foundation, Community Garden Kitchen, Agents4Life, Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, and more!
Attendees will be encouraged to visit each vendor and play a fun “Fair Booth Bingo” game. A completed bingo card can be entered for a chance to win “Lunch for 4 Month” (assortment of restaurant gift cards), a $50 gift card, a gift basket, and more to be announced. Need not be present to win.
Standard COVID protocols will be practiced at this outdoor event, including the encouragement to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
The mission of Hope Clinic is to share the love of Christ by partnering with our community to provide quality, compassionate health care to our medically underserved neighbors living in Collin County.
