Since its inception in 1972, FBA has been a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Dallas and has provided the tools necessary to produce top ranking scholars and championship level student academicians, artists, and athletes.
The faculty and staff work diligently to show Christ’s love to the students through daily Bible courses, weekly chapel services, and prayer during every class. Students participate in a mentor/mentee program, and each spring, the entire school serves locally, nationally and/or internationally.
Academically, the Academy produces National Merit and Commended Scholars, and students have a high rate of acceptance to their first choice college or university. Pre-AP and AP level courses are offered in Upper School. Academic vertical alignment through the Lower School allows for a seamless transition into Middle School.
The fine arts program is diverse with classes and assignments that include drawing, painting, pottery, band, choir, and theater.
The Saints Athletic Complex is FBA’s 21-acre sports facility. It is home to FBA’s football field, baseball and softball fields, track, and gymnasium. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities from elective courses to athletic teams.
