Business Relations Coordinator

Are you interested in joining an amazing team recognized as the 2021 National Religious Broadcasters Christian Radio Station of the year? If so, 90.9 KCBI may be interested in you!

Located in the Arts District in downtown Dallas, KCBI is looking for a part-time Business Relations Coordinator.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Business Relations Coordinator will be required to make calls to existing, lapsed and prospective business and ministry partners, make follow-up phone calls and/or emails and letters, produce outgoing proposals, maintain and distribute media kits, organize and manage business relations events, and respond to prospects and Partner inquiries promptly.

Applicants must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Candidates must demonstrate the desire to work in a purpose-driven, non-profit ministry, excel in customer service, be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), have excellent writing skills, and be motivated to work with people. Experience using a constituent relationship management (CRM) database and managing broadcast schedules is preferred. The position also requires an analytical problem solver who is very organized, cares about the details, and thrives in a collaborative, results-based culture.

Digital Production Assistant

This position is designed primarily to assist the Digital Content Director in digital content production, including arranging shooting schedules, assisting with video shoots, editing video and audio, and scheduling content for publication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the production of video and audio content, including camera and soundboard operation
  • Edit video + audio projects including importing and organizing media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting graphics, adding music/voice-over/sfx, managing media and finalizing output
  • Work with Digital Content Director to create video concepts that support marketing initiatives, campaigns and promotions
  • All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must be committed to the mission of KCBI
  • Must be a self-starter who is goal oriented and results-focused
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
  • Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially video/audio editing platforms (Premiere + Audition)
  • Knowledge of camera operation/cinematography is desired

Semester/Summer Internship

Want to gain hands-on experience in broadcasting and ministry? Come learn from the best in the business!

KCBI is looking for interns who are diligent, communicative, organized, and desire to learn more about non-profit Christian radio and ministry. You will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge by working with several departments at the station, including business relations, digital content, engineering, promotions and outreach, and production and on-air shows.
