Of course, if you’ve been following Lauree from the midday show, you know that she just got back from Iceland. After talking with her about her experience, Jeff and Rebecca thought it would be a good idea to play a game called, “Jay Allen, eat this!” Apparently, in Iceland, people eat something called Kæstur hákarl (Icelandic for “fermented shark” or “rotten” shark) is a national dish of Iceland consisting of a Greenland Shark or other sleeper shark which has been cured with a particular fermentation process and hung to dry for four to five months. Let’s just say the name is a dead giveaway about how bad this tasted and smelled!
