At the age of 40, I hadn’t rode the bus since I was in high school. My enemies laughed and talked about me relentlessly. I had to walk up and down dark streets with all sorts of violence and uncertainty. The weather was almost always unpredictable.
Later on I moved to Dallas, TX, where a Dart officer picked me up and tried to hurt me. Again, I depended on public transportation. It took me 2 hours to get to work. My co-workers would taunt and ridicule – never offering a helping hand (unless it was to cause harm).
Finally, after 4 yrs of relying on public transportation and watching my account shrink from renting cars, I purchased a new CAR. God blessed me when I doubted him…God gave me strength to endure this hardship. God gave me courage and hope to move on and believe. I was suffering tremendously and didn’t even realize it. God was watching and looking out for me – all the time I felt like I was forgotten (sitting on the bench – waiting for the city bus).
