I'm heartbroken and very angry at myself. I could really use your prayers. I had been sober for about 7 weeks and was doing really well, but I relapsed early this week. I'm determined to get my sobriety back and keep it, but I know I will need God's help even more than ever. Thank you.

My son graduates this year and got himself into trouble at the end of the school year. It breaks our hearts to know he won’t be able to walk through his elementary school, attend the Baccalaureate service or or walk at graduation. Please pray for him to make better choices and redeem himself. My heart is so heavy.

I recently left a media job due to some changes, and am now seeking the Lord's direction in my life in terms of my career. I need prayer for guidance and direction as to whether to continue to pursue a career in media or if I need to shift my focus elsewhere, even though I still have a passion to work in media.

I am a realtor, but I really see my job as a ministry. I recently met with an older gentleman whose story just made me sad. He's just lonely. He needs to find a home that is not so far away from people, and he needs friends. He has not chosen to sign with me as an agent (yet), but his loneliness and need are heavy on my heart.

Please pray that God will find Bill (last name withheld) a home that is perfect for him and his little dog, Comet...close to fishing, which he loves, but also close to friendly people and services that he needs to be near to (restaurants and stores). Perfect would also be in a safe neighborhood. If that is through me finding him that property, great. If not, please pray that he will find it somehow so he can not be so lonely.

When we returned from the mission field, the Lord provided a vehicle that served our family well for many years. Last August, I was hit by a young man who was texting while driving. My wonderful SUV was totaled. I just told God that He could have that car back, but that he would need to provide another one. He has been faithful to provide cars that run...through a friend, then my daughter's vehicle...but at the end of summer she will be taking her truck to college and I will have no car.

Our family has had several trials hit us at once, and some days we barely have enough money for food. We have medical bills so enormous that even thinking about them makes me hyperventilate. Without a car, I can not work. My job requires me to drive all over the Metroplex area, sometimes several hundred miles per day.

When we were overseas, our SUV remained parked in East Texas because my in-laws did not have a car big enough to pick up our family at the airport. Once a week my father-in-law started our car and drive to the town square and back. My prayer request is that somewhere out there, there is somebody with a car that gets fantastic gas mileage, and it is sitting in the driveway not being used. Maybe they bought a new car and don't know what they want to do about that other car. Well, it is not too big a challenge for my God who owns the castle on a thousand hills to work out the details of getting that car matched up with this servant of the Lord who desperately needs reliable, clean, professional (enough) transportation.

God's Word says to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let (my) requests be made known to God. So I'm thanking Him for His faithful provision and trusting that He will do a miracle in this area...because I have nowhere else to turn. Without a car, I can't work. If I can't work, we can't even feed our kids.
